For those of you following along, yesterday I went over my idea for a reboot of The Office called The Class. If you don’t remember, go back and check it out here. We’ll wait.
Well, today I was perusing through my twitter feed – and came upon this:

And then I checked out the article.
It’s not quite what I talked about yesterday, but it’s close. A children’s book about all the characters from The Office as kids in elementary school. I couldn’t believe I stumbled across this the very next day after writing about my idea. Isn’t that weird? Could it be a sign? Maybe Krampus Dwight trying to tell me something? Or even scarier, Creed? Maybe we shouldn’t go see him this summer after all…

Remember back during that whole Titanic craze? No? You’re too old to remember, or were you not born yet? Well, I remember. I came across an old FoxTrot comic strip recently that I remembered real well. I had cut it out when it first ran and put it in my version of a blog back then – this blank book I used to write in and put interesting or important clippings into. Like comic strips…

You sure you don’t remember this craze? Going to see it over and over? The song on the radio all the time? The box office records? Well, the following strips of FoxTrot captured all that pretty good.

Nowadays the closest thing we’ve got is grown men sitting in a theater crying over watching other grown men in costumes duking it out on the screen over a pretend world. Cap with his arms outstretched saying – I’m flying Tony. I’m flying!
